The Stolen have released their new music video for “I’m So Dead” off their latest EP of the same name. I’m So Dead is laced with 90’s rock with modern pop and R&B sensibilities reminiscent of The 1975, The Summer Set and The Maine. When asked about the release, The Stolen stated:
“The track name and EP title came from something my ex-girlfriend had said to me after we broke up and she took a turn for the worse. ‘I’m So Dead’ is about a girl who is addicted to cocaine and everyone around her is oblivious to what is going on but me. She puts on a show to seek attention. It’s about being a bystander and a former part of someone’s life who has replaced it with an addiction.”
The EP was produced and engineered by guitarist Rob Chiarappa and Mike Oettinger in New Jersey. The tracks were mixed by Rob Chiarappa and mastered by Robin Schmidt.
I’m So Dead is available now via iTunes. The band is currently on their summer tour so be sure to catch them at any of the following dates:
