With a sound unlike any other, and a self-described “androgynous voice,” The Japanese House is the solo project of U.K. based Amber Bain. She’s already been affiliated with and opened shows for bands along the likes of The 1975, so if she isn’t on your radar yet, you better keep an eye out.
Ever since the beginning of fall, The Japanese House has been releasing singles in anticipation of a forthcoming third EP, Swim Against The Tide. The latest release is “Good side in,” and the only word to describe the track is “dreamy” — it’s the kind of song that transports you to a perfect rainy day, and you’re suddenly wishing you were drinking a cappuccino in the city.
